Lost for words! When my husband proposed to me, we started planning our wedding straight away! Jack saw The SoundHouse Band at one of their residencies and he was blown away. So when it came to planning our day we were sure of one thing – the band.
What can I say? The band made my day 1000 times better! All of our guests were so impressed and they even had my 78-year old grandma up and dancing! I knew how good The SoundHouse Band were as I had seen them before my wedding. What I didn’t know is that they would do extra things to make our day even better. With 150 guests from all walks of life to entertain (I am a mixed race doctor who loves basketball, field hockey, Tupac and Paul Simon) – The SoundHouse Band smashed it! The sound was pitch perfect and our guests were blown away by their ability to entertain.
From doing the limbo to throwing some funky shapes before turning around to find myself next to a good looking fella with a trumpet, I had the best time! They got all the guests involved and maintained the quality of the music. One of my fondest memories was hearing the band perform classic garage tracks from back in the day – live!

We had The SoundHouse Band at our wedding and if I had to use three words to sum them up I’d say: amazing, awesome and brilliant! They made the party and got involved with the guests. They sang and came onto the dance floor with us and turned what could have been a quiet get together into the most amazing event. My wife and I saw The SoundHouse Band perform in Camden and instantly knew we had to have these guys at our wedding. They did not disappoint! In fact it’s fair to say that they were a top highlight of the day. Everyone I’ve spoken to since keeps telling me ‘the band were amazing’.
The dance-floor never stopped and that’s exactly what we wanted. Not only do they perform the songs to an incredible standard, putting their own stamp on classic track after classic track; they really entertain and interact with the crowd too. Our guests absolutely loved this and it created an even happier, livelier party vibe – they even had my wife and I sing and one of the bridesmaids rapping at one point; something we’ll never forget! On top of this they performed a bespoke version of one of our favourite tracks for our first dance – it was beautiful!

Knowing what we know now, we would have paid double what we paid and still felt it was fantastic value for money. Our feelings about The SoundHouse Band have been affirmed by the feedback we received from so many of our guests. It is difficult to articulate the quality of the band but we were left in awe. The way you read the room and knew exactly what we wanted was incredible – the garage set went down particularly well!! We just know that “the band at your wedding…” is something we’ll be hearing from our friends and family FOREVER. They’re as obsessed as us!
For us, your part throughout the ceremony and wedding breakfast were probably the most special. I knew it would be great because you guys are so professional and thoughtful, but it was way more magical than we imagined which is EXACTLY what you want for your wedding day. So, so, soooo glad we added this on.
Some advice for couples planning a wedding: BOOK THE SOUNDHOUSE BAND! It’s the best money you’ll spend on your big day. Enjoy every minute of them because once it’s over you’ll want to do it all again and again.
