SoundHouse Entertainment is stepping into the spotlight with the release of their debut EP, a bold six-track project that re-imagines some of the world’s most beloved songs in brand-new styles. Available now on all major platforms including Spotify and Apple Music, the EP delivers a creative and masterfully produced take on familiar favourites.
Known primarily for curating unforgettable live music experiences, the team decided to respond directly to fan demand with this release.
Audiences at past events have long praised the band’s creative spins on classic tracks, with calls growing louder for these interpretations to be available beyond the live setting. This EP is the answer: a collection that captures the magic of their performances while pushing artistic boundaries. Band Leader Otty said, “This whole project is somewhat an elaborate experiment. We wanted to showcase our creativity and also satisfy the desires of those who have called for a project like this. It’s probably overdue to be fair, and hopefully the first of many.”
Across the six tracks, listeners can expect daring transformations that breathe new life into timeless songs. Highlights include an irresistible Afrobeat rendition of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Valerie’ (which serves as the first single off the record) and a brass-laden lounge version of ‘Crazy’ by Gnarls Barkley. Alongside this are other reinterpretations that fuse genres and reframe the originals in surprising, inventive ways. Notably, every note was performed, arranged, and produced in-house by the SoundHouse team – a testament to their musicianship and also the versatility on their roster.
